Installation – Step-by-Step (Editable)

Note: Follow Below Steps Carefully for Installation

A) Pre-Install Checklist

1. Install/Activate GeneratePress theme.

2. Go to Appearance → Themes

1. Click on Add Theme → Upload Theme

1. Click on Choose File → Open Gp-Newspaper-Pro.zip File → Click on Install Now → Activate

1. Open Plugins → Add Plugins

1. Click on Upload Plugin → Choose File → Select Gp-Premium.zip → Click on Install Now → Activate

1. Again Click on Upload Plugin → Choose File → Select Generateblocks-Pro.zip → Click on Install Now → Activate

1. Click on Add Plugin → Search Plugins → Generateblocks → Click on Install Now → Activate

1. Click On Plugins Section → Installed Plugins → Click GP Premium.zip → Click on Configuration

1. Generatepress Premium → Click on Configuration → Activate Modules: Colors, Typography, Elements, Spacing, Menu Plus, Secondary Nav , Site Library 

1. Generatepress Premium → Section Import → Choose File → Open Generatepress-setting.Json → Click on Import

1. Click on Generate Blocks → Open Local Patterns → Import From JSON → Choose File → Open Home-Page.JSON

1. Click Tools → Import → Click on Wordpress → Install Now

1. Click Tools → Import → Click on Wordpress → Click On Run Importer

1. Click Tools → Import → Click on Wordpress → Click On Run Importer → Choose File → Open Elements.xml File → Click on Upload File and Import

1. Click Pages →Add Page → Type Page Name "Home" → Type: /pattern → Click On Home Page

1. Click on Disable Elements and Tick Mark on Content Title and Publish Page

1. Click on Settings → Click on Reading → Select A Static Page → Click on Home → Click on Save Changes

D) Replace Branding & Styles

1. Appearance → Customize → Site Identity: Logo, Site Title, Favicon.

2. Colors & Typography: Customize with (GP Premium) ke through.

3. Buttons/Links: States & hover tweak.

E) Configure Homepage Sections

1. Hero Section (Featured posts): Set Query based on category/tag.

2. Trending/Latest Grid: Update Post Query filter as Per your Requirment.

3. Category Blocks: Easily Assignable Category (e.g., Finance, Health, Travel).

F) Single Post & Archive

1. Single Post: Featured image size, author box, related posts visibility.

2. Archives: Grid/list toggle, excerpt length, meta controls.

G) Final Checks

1. Mobile & Tablet responsive check (Editor preview).

2. Core Web Vitals sanity check (Lighthouse/Pagespeed)

Editing Guide (Non-Technical)

• Open any page/post → Edit with Block Editor.

• Click a section → As Per Required Change right sidebar Layout/Spacing/Colors/Typo with (GenerateBlocks controls).

• Images: Use 1280×720 or larger for hero/featured.

Performance Tips

• Caching: LiteSpeed Cache / WP Rocket (choose one).
